Supreme Court seeks three rights panels' views on Talaq-e-Hasan plea

The Supreme Court is examining the validity of Talaq-e-Hasan, a form of divorce where a Muslim man can divorce his wife by saying 'talaq' once a month for three months. The court has requested the NHRC, NCW, and NCPCR to provide their opinions on the matter. This comes after the SC previously outlawed triple talaq in 2017.
