Wednesday, 6 August 2025 () Chief Justice of India, B R Gavai, announced a new rule barring designated senior advocates from mentioning cases for urgent hearings, starting Monday. This decision aims to provide young lawyers with opportunities to gain experience and confidence in persuading judges.
