In Bengaluru, a 39-year-old vegetable vendor named Manjunath was attacked with a machete near a bar in Chowdappa Layout after refusing to lend his phone to two youths. The assailants, aged 20-23, requested to use his phone, and upon refusal, an argument escalated, leading to the attack.
