Statehood demand: Congress announces August 5 as Black day in J&K

The Congress party in J&K has announced it will observe August 5th as a 'Black Day' to mark six years since the abrogation of Article 370 and the downgrading of the state. JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra stated that peaceful sit-in protests will be held on August 5th, followed by hunger strikes from August 9th to 20th, excluding August 15th and 16th.
