India develops personnel sphere, completes welding on submersible after 700 trials

The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has achieved a milestone in India's Deep Ocean Mission by successfully developing the personnel sphere for the MATSYA-6000 submersible. This vessel is designed to carry humans to depths of 6,000 meters. The accomplishment involved overcoming challenges in welding thick titanium plates, marking a significant advancement for underwater exploration and resource assessment.
