Probe agencies can’t summon lawyers: AG; CJI says 'ED officers crossing all limits'

The Enforcement Directorate admitted its mistake in summoning advocates. Attorney General informed the Supreme Court that probe agencies received instructions to avoid such errors. The Chief Justice of India emphasized the privileged nature of lawyer-client communication. The Supreme Court will address petitions from bar associations on July 29.
