Tamil Nadu: MBBS course in self-financing colleges to cost Rs 1.5 lakh a year more; revised fee structure out
Tuesday, 15 July 2025 () In Tamil Nadu, MBBS fees for management quota seats in self-financing colleges will increase to ₹15 lakh annually, while NRI fees will rise to ₹27 lakh from 2025. The 'NRI lapse' category has been eliminated, transferring vacant NRI seats to the management quota after counselling. Institutions can collect an additional ₹60,000 as development fee.
