Air India Crash: Why Boeing’s Fuel Switch Is Under Scrutiny – And What US Agency Said About It
Monday, 14 July 2025 () Indian investigators cited a 2018 FAA advisory that had warned Boeing operators to inspect the locking mechanism of fuel cutoff switches to prevent unintentional movement. However, the FAA had not mandated any action.
