Ahead of polls, Bihar OKs plan to limit 35% quota in jobs for women: Non-domicile applicants to apply under general category; what it means for job aspirants

The Bihar government, led by Nitish Kumar, has approved a domicile clause for women's reservation in state government jobs, limiting the 35% quota to Bihar residents only. Non-Bihari women must now compete in the general category. Additionally, financial aid will be provided to physically challenged candidates clearing UPSC and BPSC prelims.
