EWS quota bloc trails OBCs in UPSC mains, but turns tables in interviews

In recent Civil Services exams, a complex dynamic exists between EWS and OBC candidates. While OBC candidates initially scored higher in the Mains exams for CS-2023 and CS-2024, EWS candidates ultimately surpassed them in the final results due to better performance in the interview portion.
