After April 22 terror attack, 16 Jammu and Kashmir's tourist spots reopen

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the reopening of 16 tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir, out of the 48 closed after the Pahalgam terror attack. Eight destinations in the Valley and eight in Jammu will reopen from June 17, following appeals from political leaders and tourism stakeholders. The decision aims to restore normalcy, with further reopenings planned after security assessments.
