Meghalaya murder: Machete used to kill Raja Raghuvanshi didn’t match local design, gave cops key clue
Monday, 9 June 2025 () Police recovered a machete, not native to Meghalaya, linked to the murder of Indore tourist Raja Raghuvanshi near Weisawdong Falls on June 2. Raja went missing with wife Sonam on May 23; his body was found the same day as the weapon. Sonam later surrendered in Uttar Pradesh. The SIT probe revealed a sharp weapon injury on Raja’s head.
