581 CAPF units, jammers, drones, K9 units: Post-Pahalgam attack, a full-spectrum shield for Amarnath Yatra

Ahead of the Amarnath Yatra, the government is implementing heightened security measures, deploying 581 CAPF companies, jammers, drones, and K9 units. Scheduled from July 3 to August 9, the pilgrimage will see signal jammers used for convoy protection against IED threats. Security forces will be stationed along the Pahalgam and Baltal routes, utilizing ROPs, QATs, BDS, and advanced surveillance technologies.
