Tourists Airlifted In Sikkim After Landslide: North Sikkim Temporarily Closed, State Remains Open For Travel, Says CM Tamang

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang reassured tourists that despite disruptions in North Sikkim due to landslides and floods, the rest of the state remains safe and open for travel. Nearly 1,500 tourists were stranded, but air evacuations are underway, and Sikkim continues to offer a range of scenic destinations for visitors.
