Heavy rains lash Telangana; more in store over next 2 days, says IMD

Telangana experienced significant rainfall, with Narayanpet district receiving the highest amount. The IMD forecasts continued heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in isolated places, advising residents to stay alert and avoid travel during peak hours. Following Tuesday night's inundation on the Old Mumbai highway, a HYDRAA commissioner inspected the area and ordered desiltation of flood canals.
