Wednesday, 28 May 2025 () Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced a plan to fill 24,203 vacant school positions. This follows court rulings regarding the School Service Commission. An additional 20,000 jobs will also be created. The recruitment process starts May 30, with counselling beginning November 20. Age relaxation and experience advantages will be offered.
