Restore Hyderabad forest or be ready to go to jail, SC tells Telangana CS

The Supreme Court has strongly reprimanded the Telangana government for illegally deforesting a portion of Kancha Gachibowli forest for an IT center without proper clearances. The court threatened to hold the chief secretary and other officials accountable, potentially sending them to jail, if the deforested area isn't restored through afforestation within two months.
