Ayodhya civic body bans sale of liquor, meat on 14km-long Ram Path

The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has banned the sale of liquor and meat on the 14-kilometer Ram Path, connecting Ayodhya and Faizabad. This extends the existing ban in Ayodhya to include Faizabad. Advertisements for tobacco products and undergarments are also prohibited on this route. The decision aims to preserve the religious character of the city, according to Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi.
