'Exercise caution': India fact-checks fake news and misinformation by Pakistan on social media

In response to the Pahalgam attack, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has debunked false social media posts from Pakistani users. These posts falsely claimed the removal of Northern Commander Lt Gen Suchindra Kumar and alleged the downing of an Indian Rafale fighter jet, both of which PIB confirmed as misinformation.
