West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and PM Modi announced Rs 2 lakh compensation for each deceased victim and Rs 50,000 for the injured in the tragic Kolkata hotel fire that claimed 14 lives. Investigations are ongoing into safety lapses at the Rituraj Hotel in Burra Bazar.
