Anti-terror crackdown: Centre should tread carefully, not alienate innocent people, says Mehbooba Mufti

IndiaTimes Sunday, 27 April 2025
Following the Pahalgam attack, Mehbooba Mufti has called on the Centre to exercise caution during the ongoing security operations in Jammu and Kashmir. She urged the government to differentiate between terrorists and civilians, cautioning against alienating innocent people. Mufti also alleged mass arrests and demolition of houses, appealing to ensure civilians do not suffer, as alienation could aid terrorists.
