Married for 4 months, Karnataka woman ends life after in-laws' taunts over dark complexion
Monday, 21 April 2025 () Pooja Ayyanagoudar, a 24-year-old woman from Ballari, tragically ended her life after allegedly facing harassment from her mother-in-law and brother-in-law due to her complexion. The incident occurred in Betgeri-Gadag, just four months after her marriage to Amaresh. Police have arrested Shashikala and Veeranagouda following a complaint filed by Pooja's parents, and they are currently in judicial custody.
