Torn pages of ‘bir’ found in Punjab gurdwara; triggers political uproar

Torn pages of a Guru Granth Sahib 'bir' were discovered in a Hoshiarpur gurdwara after a prayer function. Local SGPC member Surinder Singh Bhullewal Rathan reported the incident to police, noting non-functional CCTV cameras. Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj criticized the Punjab government's failure to prevent desecration and announced an investigation.
