Senior JNU professor suspended for alleged sexual harassment of Japanese researcher

A senior faculty member of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi has been dismissed over charges of sexual harassment involving a foreign researcher, an official said. The alleged incident took place a few months ago during a university event.
