SC orders Mumbai police to return 2 flats they have occupied from 1940

The Supreme Court has ordered the Mumbai police to return two prime Opera House flats to their owners, ending an 84-year occupation. The police department had been renting the flats since 1940 for a nominal Rs 700 monthly rent, which has been unpaid since 2008.
