Amid Centre run-ins, Tamil Nadu sets up panel to 'shield' states' rights

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has formed a high-level committee, led by retired Justice Kurian Joseph, to address concerns about state autonomy and federalism. The committee will recommend measures to protect states' rights and improve Centre-state relations, with reports expected in the coming years.
