Kazakhstan medical seat scam: Telangana man held by Andhra Pradesh cops
Thursday, 10 April 2025 () Gangadhar Harish, an agent wanted for a medical seat scam in Kazakhstan, was arrested. Srikakulam police apprehended him at Delhi airport. He allegedly collected Rs 2 crore from students in Srikakulam. Victims reported being defrauded with promises of low-cost medical seats. Harish only paid the first year fees. Students were removed from Astana Medical University. A police investigation is underway.
