2002 Godhra carnage: 3 who were minors then get 3 years’ jail

Twenty-three years after the Sabarmati Express tragedy, a juvenile justice board in Godhra sentenced three men, minors at the time of the incident, to three years' imprisonment. The 2002 carnage, which resulted in the death of 59 karsevaks, triggered widespread communal riots in Gujarat. Two other accused were acquitted, and the convicts plan to appeal the judgment.
