1 killed, 8 hurt as ‘drunk’ film director crashes SUV in Kolkata

In Kolkata's Thakurpukur, director Siddhant Das, allegedly intoxicated, drove his SUV into a crowded market, resulting in the death of a vegetable vendor and critically injuring eight others. Enraged locals vandalized the vehicle and assaulted Das before police intervened and arrested him.
