SC directs Allahabad HC CJ to withhold judicial work from Justice Yashwant Varma amid cash-at-home row

The Supreme Court directed the Allahabad High Court to suspend judicial duties for Justice Yashwant Varma amid an inquiry into cash found at his Delhi residence. Amid protests, the government also notified the transfers of Justices Chandra Dhari Singh and Arindam Sinha to the Allahabad High Court.
