CBI files case against passport official for disproportionate assets

The CBI filed a case against Deepak Chandra, a Senior Passport Superintendent in Ghaziabad, for possessing assets worth Rs. 85,06,900, disproportionate to his known income. Searches at his homes in Ghaziabad and Patna yielded Rs. 60 lakh in cash and incriminating documents. Investigations are ongoing.
