Bombay HC to MPCB: Is charcoal non-polluting as fuel in bakeries, bhattis?

The Bombay high court has directed the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) to determine if charcoal and coal differ scientifically and if charcoal can cause air pollution when used in bakeries. HC has asked MPCB to include the Bombay Charcoal Merchants Association and an intervening green NGO in the evaluation process.
