The MP health department is investigating claims that a private hospital in Ratlam falsely declared a patient in a coma to extort Rs 1 lakh. The patient's family had initially paid Rs 40,000, and a video of the distressed patient alleging false claims has prompted a thorough inquiry by a three-member committee.
