Badlapur shootout: Relief for cops, magisterial probe finding 'on hold'

A sessions court in Mumbai has temporarily halted the findings of a magisterial inquiry against five policemen linked to the custodial death of a suspect in the Badlapur school sexual assault case. The Thane judge observed that the findings might exceed the magistrate's jurisdiction and could undermine future appeals by the policemen.
