Row erupts as NIT-Calicut appoints professor, who praised Godse, department dean

NIT-Calicut professor Shaija A, who was previously charged for praising Nathuram Godse on social media, has been appointed as the dean of the planning and development department. Her appointment has sparked opposition from the Democratic Youth Federation of India, which has announced a protest march.
