CCS clears heavy-duty ammo worth Rs 10,200 crore for Pinaka artillery rocket systems

The cabinet committee on security, led by the PM, approved two critical deals worth Rs 10,200 crore for ammunition of the indigenous Pinaka multi-launch artillery rocket systems. These deals include high-explosive pre-fragmented rocket ammunition and area denial munitions, enhancing the Army's capabilities with extended strike ranges and area saturation features.
