Tuesday, 14 January 2025 Former Solapur mayor and NCP leader Mahesh Vishnupant Kothe died from a heart attack after participating in the Mahakumbh at Prayagraj. A close confidant of Sharad Pawar, Kothe was recognized for his dedication to social work and extensive political career in Solapur, despite facing health challenges.
