SC sends notice on non-recruitment of ‘Rajasthani’ teachers

The Supreme Court is hearing a plea arguing that the exclusion of the Rajasthani language from the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) violates the right to mother tongue instruction for primary and elementary school children, as mandated by the Constitution, Right to Education Act, and National Education Policy.
