Katra ropeway project: Protest enters Day 6, stir extended

The shutdown in Katra town, Jammu against the proposed ropeway project continues into its sixth day, extended until Jan 1 by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sangharsh Samiti. A protester fainted during a hunger strike demanding the release of 18 detained Samiti members, causing family members to join the agitation.
