Encroachers attack Lucknow civic body staff, 2 hurt

Around 200 encroachers, allegedly of Bangladeshi origin, attacked members of the Lucknow municipal corporation near Shubh Marriage Lawn in Indiranagar on Sunday. The assault forced the team, led by supervisor Meenakshi and food inspector Vijeta Dwivedi, to retreat. Subsequent to the incident, LMC demolished approximately 50 illegal huts near Indiranagar police station.
