Homeopaths can prescribe allopathic meds, says Maharashtra FDA

Homeopaths in Maharashtra, who have completed a certificate course in modern pharmacology, are now permitted by the FDA to prescribe allopathic medicines. This move follows the 2016 state government amendment to the Maharashtra Medical Council Act. While homeopathic practitioners welcome the directive, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) plans to challenge it legally.
