Kerala CM Vijayan writes to PM Modi to withdraw VGF repayment for Vizhinjam seaport

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has urged PM Modi to waive the repayment of Rs 817.80 crore Viability Gap Funding (VGF) for the Vizhinjam International Seaport project. Vijayan argues that requiring repayment contradicts VGF guidelines and would impose a significant financial burden on the state, which has already invested Rs 5,554 crore.
