Supreme Court comes to aid of visually impaired aspiring lawyers

The Supreme Court directed the Bar Council of India to facilitate visually impaired law graduates taking the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) using screen reader software and assistive devices. The court ordered provisions for JAWS and NVDA software, personal keyboards and mice, pre-exam software setup, and the option of using a scribe.
