Maharashtra election results: Actress Swara Bhasker blames EVMs after husband Fahad Ahmad's poll defeat
Saturday, 23 November 2024 Swara Bhasker has raised concerns about potential EVM irregularities following her husband, Fahad Ahmad's, defeat in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Ahmad, an NCP (SCP) candidate, initially led in the Anushakti Nagar constituency but lost to the BJP-supported NCP-Ajit Pawar candidate after a late surge. Bhasker questioned the sudden appearance of EVMs with 99% battery charge, suggesting possible manipulation.
