Beant Singh murder convict gets 3-hour parole for kin’s ‘bhog’

The Punjab and Haryana high court granted Balwant Singh Rajoana, a convict in the assassination of former Punjab CM Beant Singh, a three-hour release to attend his brother's "bhog" ceremony. Rajoana will be escorted by police from Patiala Central Jail to the ceremony in Ludhiana and returned to jail by 2 pm.
