J&K: National Conference MLA says he wanted to be militant after 'torture' by army officer

National Conference MLA Qaiser Jamshaid Lone revealed in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly that he contemplated joining militancy as a teenager after experiencing torture from an army officer. His faith was restored after a senior officer intervened and reprimanded the junior officer.
