Battery-run CCTV camera foils the ‘perfect’ theft

Eleven security guards in Ahmedabad, India, were caught stealing submersible pumps worth Rs 4 lakh from the industrial unit they were hired to protect. They planned the heist during the Diwali holidays, cutting off power and CCTV cameras, but were exposed by a battery-operated camera.
