India slams 'hypocrisy' of Canada on free speech

India accused Canada of hypocrisy regarding freedom of speech after Canada blocked an Australian publication, Australia Today, for highlighting Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar's criticisms of Canada. India also stated Canada failed to provide security for Indian consular camps despite increased threats against Indian diplomats, leading to the cancellation of some camps.
