'Girl would not go to a hotel room ... ': Court acquits rape case accused

The Bombay High Court acquitted a rape convict, noting that it was unlikely for a prudent girl to meet an unknown boy in a hotel room for the first time. The court found inconsistencies in the victim's account and cited lack of evidence, including delayed reporting of the incident and questionable conduct by the victim. Considering the lack of evidence, the bench acquitted a convict.
