IndiaTimes Monday, 9 September 2024
The Supreme Court has dismissed the pleas of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee and his wife Rujira to quash ED summonses related to an alleged illegal mining case. Saket Gokhale’s ₹50 Lakh Apology EXPOSES Congress Playbook: Lies, Media Uproar… Then Silence

Trinamool Congress MP Saket Gokhale has issued an unconditional public apology and agreed to pay ₹50 lakh in damages after falsely accusing ex-diplomat Lakshmi Murdeshwar Puri of corruption. The Delhi High Court warned of civil detention if he failed to comply. But Gokhale’s apology isn’t an isolated incident — it’s just another example in a long line of opposition leaders making defamatory claims, triggering outrage, and then quietly backtracking when confronted by the courts. From Rahul Gandhi’s RSS allegations to the Rafale lie, from ‘khoon ki dalali’ to defaming NSA Ajit Doval’s son — the pattern is clear: slander first, apologise later. #SaketGokhale #CongressExposed #RahulGandhi #LakshmiPuri #DelhiHighCourt #PoliticalDrama #CongressLies #NewIndia #TruthPrevails #OppositionPolitics #BJPVsCongress Also Read Kamal Haasan Faces Karnataka High Court Reprimand for Not Apologising Over Controversial Remarks :: https://www.oneindia.com/india/kamal-haasan-karnataka-hc-actor-refuses-apologise-011-4171617.html?ref=DMDesc They Gate Crashed!
